Just in time for summer comes Jonas Blue and LÉON’s new collaboration, ‘Hear Me Say’.
The English DJ and Swedish singer team up for an anthem that’s sure to be played at parties everywhere as lockdowns slowly begin to lift around the world. “Wish I could tell you there’s no one to blame / Wish I could tell you I still feel the same / I want you to know, know that it was never in vain / And that’s the last thing that you’ll hear me say”, LÉON’s vocals soar on the track.
In a statement, Jonas Blue explained that “Hear Me Say is about a relationship that seemed perfect but the couple drifted apart somewhere along the way. They will always love each other, and will cherish the memories they created, but it was just not meant to be.”
It’s not the first time that Jonas Blue has arrived to help our summer sound a little better. In 2019, he released the Rita Ora-featuring ‘Ritual’ with Tiesto which absolutely found its way into every workout playlist that summer.
‘Hear Me Say’ is Jonas Blue’s first solo release since the Robin S-sampling ‘Something Stupid’ featuring AWA in February. He also produced Ava Max’s ‘My Head & My Heart’ which became a hit in both the US and the UK earlier this year.
